Lodge Membership

Active Membership is open to any full-time law enforcement officer with arrest power who is employed by or retired from a government entity, regardless of rank. Associate Membership is extended to individuals associated with law enforcement.

FOP membership provides access to an organization that supports fraternalism among law enforcement professionals, along with numerous benefits that come with being affiliated with a national organization of over 325,000 police officers.

The Washington State FOP offers a wide range of benefits to assist our Brothers and Sisters in Law Enforcement.

About the Local Lodges

Your local lodge is a fraternal organization made up of law enforcement officers from the local community. Each lodge is an independent body in the conduct of its own affairs. Officers are elected from within the lodge, and each lodge has its own Constitution and By-laws approved by the National FOP Constitution and By-laws Committee.

Each lodge is also a member of the State Lodge and is represented at state board meetings and conferences by trustees and delegates elected by the local lodge membership.
